We did it, Lancashire Festival 2026 is officially confirmed to receive 40% match fund from Lancashire County Council’s Culture and Sports Fund and we’re incredibly grateful to every funder and supporter who got us here.

Here’s a quick little breakdown of how we did it:

• 29 Space Hive backers raised £2,200
• 40% pledge from Lancashire County Council was £1,381.60

Total SpaceHive Campaign = £3454
£1,381.60 + £2,200 = £3,581.60

That means that the SpaceHive campagin is now 103% complete & we just have to await the final transfers to complete! 🎉

But here’s the truth:

• Our estimated baseline cost this year is £7,500 – £9,000 – so this funding alone doesn’t sustain the festival

Ticket sales are what make this event truly viable, long-term.
