WE’RE SEEKING LANCASHIRE’S
NEW & UPCOMING STAGE PRESENTER
We’re looking for an energetic and charismatic Stage Host/Compere to bring the Main Stage to life at LancsFest 2026!
Role:
- Pre-Festival Voluntary Work: Help with planning the flow of acts, timing, and liaising with performers. Hours are flexible and unpaid.
- Festival Day (Paid): 25th July 2026, festival hours 11:00am-7pm – £15 p/h
Responsibilities:
- Introduce acts on the Main Stage with energy and personality
- Conduct quick on-stage interviews with performers between sets
- Keep performances on schedule and transitions smooth
- Engage the audience and maintain festival energy
- Work with performers, tech crew, and volunteers
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
- Based in Preston or nearby
- Confident public speaker, friendly, and engaging
- Able to improvise and handle last-minute changes calmly
- Experience in hosting, stage management, presenting, or live events preferred
- Must have or be willing to obtain a DBS check (festival will cover the cost if needed)
