What is The Lancashire Festival?

The Lancashire Festival is a family-friendly celebration of grassroots arts, live music, variety performers, local food, market stalls, and community culture. It’s designed for all ages, with plenty to enjoy for children and adults alike.


Is the festival suitable for children?

Yes! The festival is very family-friendly and welcomes children of all ages. There will be family attractions, performances suitable for younger audiences, and open green spaces to relax and explore.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Yes, all attendees are required to hold a valid Ticket.

Where does the festival take place?

The festival takes place in Preston, Lancashire, in a central park location. Full address details and a map can be found on our Location & Info page.


How to claim free carers ticket?

To claim a free ticket for a carer – you must first purchase your attendee passes then email lancsfestnw@gmail.com with subject “free carer pass” and we will add a carer pass to your account.

A free carer pass does not mean free entry for all, this is for registered carers in lancashire only.


What time does the festival start and finish?

Start: 11am
Finish: 7pm


Will there be food and drink available?

Yes! There will be a variety of fresh food and drink vendors, offering options suitable for adults and children, including vegetarian and other dietary choices.


Can I bring my own food and drink?

Small personal snacks and water for children are usually fine. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the festival.


Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs may be allowed on leads, depending on local park regulations. Please check closer to the event date for confirmation and always clean up after your dog.


Is the festival accessible?

We aim to make the festival as accessible as possible. The site is generally flat, with accessible routes and facilities available. If you have specific access needs, please contact us in advance and we’ll be happy to help.


Are there baby-changing facilities?

Yes, baby-changing facilities will be available on site. Locations will be clearly signposted on the day.


Is there parking available?

Parking information, including nearby car parks and public transport options, will be listed on the Getting Here section of the website closer to the event.


What happens if it rains?

The festival goes ahead rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In extreme conditions, updates will be shared via the website and social media.


Can I bring chairs or picnic blankets?

Yes — folding chairs and picnic blankets are welcome and encouraged, especially for families wanting to relax during performances.


Will there be market stalls?

Yes! There will be a range of market stalls and gift sellers, showcasing local makers, artists, and small businesses.


Can I take photos or videos?

Personal photography and video are welcome. By attending, you may also be photographed or filmed for festival promotion.
